The MIT Washington Summer Internship Program has enabled over 350 student interns to spend a summer in Washington, DC since its founding in 1995. In those years, we have partnered with organizations as prestigious as the White House, U.S. Congress, Council of Economic Advisors, NASA, and the National Institutes of Health. Many alumni have gone on to fruitful policy careers; we have alumni at the Southern Poverty Law Center, the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, the Federal Trade Commission, and the Office of Legislative Affairs.
Our program relies on financial support from program friends, alumni, and others interested in advancing our mission of bringing an MIT perspective on science and technology to Washington, DC. Please consider supporting us this year with a gift to our dedicated fund at Giving to MIT. To discuss potential ways to support our program, please contact Charles Stewart or Katherine Hoss.
