Federal Communications Commission

I worked at the Federal Communications Commission this summer under the Chief Technology Officer. The FCC is the regulatory body of the telecommunications industry and manages the spectrum through auctioning mechanisms. My projects included numerous economic analyses and technology policy work. It was an extremely rewarding experience because I got to interact with people of numerous different backgrounds such as law, engineering, economics, and technology. Further, it provided me deeper insights on the interaction between government and industry. Shout out to the Office of Lunch, a group of high-energy economists at the FCC who I have had the pleasure of eating lunch with!
