As part of the MIT-DC Summer Internship program I worked within the World Bank Group. My summer work included two different projects; one situated in Russia and the other in Nigeria. For my work in Russia, our team performed a volatility study and worked closely with Russian economists to spur innovation within sectors of the economy. In Nigeria, our team analyzed the health of markets within the country and looked to find production and import points for commodities, in order to better inform domestic farmers. I truly enjoyed my time at the bank, and I truly feel that I was able to make an impact across the world, of which I am truly grateful.
