Brookings Institution - Metropolitan Policy Program
This summer I interned at the Brookings Institution working in the Metropolitan Policy Program. My primary role was in development where I helped cultivate corporate, philanthropic, government, and other partners to help further the research and findings of the program.
I also assisted in the communications department with event and press release preparation, and with special research projects for the program director, Bruce Katz. I conducted a piece of original research on immigration and entrepreneurship, looking at programs devised to help states attract and anchor foreign entrepreneurs by partnering with local universities.
