I worked on Capitol Hill in Congressman Pete Stark's personal office. As Congressman Stark was the ranking member of health subcommittee of the House Ways and Means Committee, I was able to get an insight into health legislation. I worked closely with the Chief of Staff and health staffer, Debbie Curtis. I attended numerous hearings and briefings on Medicare, Medicaid, and the Patient Protection and Affordability Care Act. I also learned a lot from answering health-related constituent letters.
