The Electronic Privacy Information Center
This summer I worked at the Electronic Privacy Information Center (EPIC) as a summer clerk. While I was there I worked on several different projects such as submitting a consumer privacy complaint to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), researching and writing an amicus brief for the Supreme Court Case, Carpenter v. United States and filing a Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA) request with the IRS. In addition to this much of my summer was spent working on obtaining a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) for the President’s Advisory Commission on Election Integrity (PACEI) which sought to obtain personally information on voters from every state. Through this experience I was able to attend congressional hearings and hear oral arguments in federal court.
