The Federal Reserve
This summer I worked at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors. Specifically, I was in the Cyber and AI Solutions Lab (CASL) within the Division of Financial Stability. My work focused on 1) how cybersecurity, AI, and quantum technologies have the impact to affect financial stability and 2) how these technologies can be harnessed to enhance work in financial stability. As part of this work I conducted literature reviews and original research on LLM capabilities for economic research, exploring retrieval-augmented generation, multi-agent debate systems, and the use of agents in economic modelling. Additionally, I attended conferences and presented current evidence around the impacts of AI on labor and on our financial system at large.
