Future of Privacy
This summer I worked as an AI Policy Intern at the Future of Privacy Forum (FPF). FPF is a global non-profit membership organization providing data protection, AI, and digital governance insights and resources to stakeholders across industry, academia, and the public sector.
As an intern with FPF’s Center for Artificial Intelligence I primarily focused on the topic of agentic AI by conducting technical and industry-specific research related to agentic systems, including their data privacy and cybersecurity implications. I translated these concepts into written summaries and analysis that provide actionable insights to companies and organizations currently leveraging agentic AI in their products or internal workflows. In addition I worked on an ongoing benchmarking project observing AI governance practices within the private sector. I analyzed relevant data, organized findings into a presentation for use by senior leadership in discussion with stakeholders, and created a comprehensive report containing the data, its analyses, and a discussion of trends.
My summer at FPF provided me with the opportunity to explore the technical side of AI and apply my multidisciplinary perspective to evaluate how developments in AI impact existing systems and processes. I look forward to continuing my involvement in the crossover between technology and society, especially as the reach and capabilities of AI continue to expand.
