I spent this summer interning at the World Bank working on education in the Europe and Central Asia region. We worked on policy recommendations for client countries hoping to reform their national education systems based on analysis of their current systems. I found work on socioeconomic equity in education and access to early childhood education the most interesting. It was a great experience getting exposure to the field of education policy and confirmed for me that I want to work in education policy after graduation!
