World Bank Group
This summer I worked at the World Bank in the Environment and Natural Resources Global Practice with the Disruptive KIDS (Knowledge, Information, and Data Services) Helpdesk. My main project involved researching over 250 technologies for inclusion in an interactive e-book on Disruptive Technologies in Development. Additionally, I developed case studies to provide more details into the disruptive nature and replication potential of selected technologies being used for social impact around the world. Another part of my internship was to utilize innovative modes of data visualization, which allowed me to improve my data analysis skills. Overall I had a wonderful time at the Bank and was extremely fascinated by the work culture in DC.
